RSC FALL PREVIEW
- Point Park University rallied from 10 shots back and then won in a playoff over WVU Tech to claim the team title at the RSC Fall Preview Tournament held at Lassing Pointe Golf Course
- The Pioneers shot 291 in the final round to comeback over the final 18 holes.
- Point Park and WVU Tech were tied after the completion of the 54 holes of regulation.
- A playoff was needed to decide things, and the Pioneers came out on top.
- Point Park's Max Kaminsky (74-73-71) won the individual medalist title by five shots over Taylor Suggs (77-73-73) of Cincinnati Christian and Braden Keown (81-70-72) of WVU Tech.
- WVU Tech built a four-shot lead over Brescia after Monday's 36 holes were completed.
- Brescia ended up in third place, and Asbury and first-round leader Ohio Christian tied for fourth.
- WVU Tech shot another solid team score of 301 in the final round led by Keown's 72 and Jayden Dignan's 73.
- But it came down to the Pioneers and Golden Bears being in a dead heat after 54 holes.

LAST GAME
- WVU Tech baseball was on top until the sixth inning when Campbellsville picked up two runs and the lead towards an eventual 9-4 win.
- The team finished with eight hits including two from Prather who finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, two runs scored and two stolen bases.
- Alex Kotheimer, Tanner Levine, Jacob Reimold, Chris Davidson, Trevor Lam and Marcus Rodriguez had one hit each.
- Lam and Kotheimer knocked a two-bag ball a piece while Levine grabbed a steal.
- Of the runs driven in for Tech, Davidson led the team with two off a single to left field that plated Doug Prather and Kotheimer.
- The Gold and Blue's first score came off a single from Reimold that brought in Levine in the first inning while the final run was in the bottom of the ninth when Prather scored off a passed ball.
- Jayson Sykora put in 5.0 innings of work on the bump to start the Golden Bears off.
- The Spencer, Ohio native struck out three Tigers while giving up three hits and two earned runs.
- Jarron Monroe (3-3) threw 2.0 innings for the loss, scattering three earned runs and two hits while striking out two batters.
- Junior Dalton Grisell struck out one while giving up two hits and two runs.
- Redshirt-junior Garrison Vandeventer finished out the game, giving up two hits and two runs.

LAST SERIES
- WVU Tech softball dropped two non-conference games to Bluefield College.
- The Golden Bears (11-27) fell in the opener 8-4 before dropping the final game 3-1.
- Senior Genna Trippett's 32nd career home run highlighted the doubleheader for Tech.
- The Parkersburg, West Virginia native is currently tied for 36th in the nation (NAIA DI) for her eight total long balls this season.

LAST MEET
- The Golden Bear track and field program participated in the Jasmine Claggett Memorial, hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan College, April 14.
- The top highlight of the day occurred during the last track event when the men's 4 x 400 meter relay squad took home first with a season-best time of 3:26.62.
- Sophomore Daniel Lynch continued his winning ways in the shot put, with a toss of 15.17 meters (49'9.25") while also garnering a fourth place in the discus.
- Tech's top individual running performance goes to sophomore Jesse Griesheimer, racing to fourth place in the 5,000 meter run with a huge 40+ second personal-best of 15:59.25.
- Also placing for the men, were freshman Dameion Russ (6th | 200 meters), Sasha Fleurinor (8th | 400 meters), Raquez Lockhart (8th | 800 meters), sophomore Seth Greensage (5th | hammer and 7th | discus) and freshman Luke Jobson (6th | javelin).
- The women were led by the third place finish of senior Brooke Gee in the shot put who had a massive personal-best throw of 12.95 meters (42'6").
- Gee went on to place fifth in the javelin while also securing 8th place in both the hammer and discus.
- Also placing for the women's squad was freshman Katie Ervin, running to the seventh spot in the 800 meter run.
