RSC COACHES' PRESEASON POLL
- IU Kokomo is the top choice in the 2017 River States Conference Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- The Cougars are picked to finish first overall among the 12 teams in the conference and first in the RSC West Division after the polling of the league's coaches.
- The top four teams in each division will qualify for the playoffs.
- The polling had WVU Tech seventh overall and Brescia University eighth overall as the fourth-place teams in their respective divisions.

RSC COACHES' PRESEASON POLL
- The University of Rio Grande is the consensus favorite for the 2017 River States Conference Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- The RedStorm, coming off a 21-2-2 record and NAIA national runner-up finish in 2016, got every possible first-place vote in the RSC voting conducted by the league's coaches.
- Rio Grande was voted as the top team by all nine of the other coaches in the conference and earned the highest possible vote total of 81.
- WVU Tech (18-3-2 in 2016) is second in the RSC preseason poll.
- The Golden Bears received 73 votes and the remaining first-place tally.
- WVU Tech spent much of last year ranked as well and reached the final 16 teams of the NAIA national tournament before losing in overtime.
- The Golden Bears tied Rio Grande in last year's regular season at 7-0-1 RSC.
