NEW ALBANY, Indiana -- The Golden Bears fell to Indiana University Southeast 74-66 in a River States Conference (RSC) contest Thursday evening. WVU Tech now holds a record of 9-6, 3-2 (RSC) while the Grenadiers move to 10-5, 4-1 (RSC).
Junior
Brandon Shingles poured in a game-best 28 points to go with seven rebounds. Senior
Michael Scott finished with 15 points while pulling down seven rebounds.
Freshman
Tamon Scruggs recorded eight rebounds and six points while sophomore
Dominik King had seven points and six rebounds.
As a team, Tech finished 21-for-57 (36.8 percent) shooting from the floor while IU Southeast shot 27-for-63 (42.9 percent). The Golden Bears did outrebound the Grenadiers, 40-38.
Up next, Tech will continue conference play as they travel to face Brescia University Saturday afternoon.
