LAST TIME ON THE COURT
- Earned a 3-0 shut out River States Conference (RSC) victory over Midway University in Van Meter Gymnasium.
- After scores of 25-11, 25-10 and 25-22 the Golden Bears move to 22-7, 6-4 (RSC) while the Eagles now hold a record of 6-18, 3-6 (RSC).
- Senior Ana Monteiro had a standout game with a double-double effort of 11 digs on defense and ten kills on offense.
- The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native also posted three assists and a block solo.
- Junior Carolina Bologna finished 8-for-16 towards a .438 hitting percentage while recording three digs and two each of service aces, block solos and block assists.
- Fellow junior Konstantina Pateli had 15 assists to go with five kills and six digs.
- Freshman Michaella Guyot-Polverini had four assists and three digs for Tech.
- Junior Katelyn Byrd picked up 11 digs and had three assists while also putting down four kills, a block solo and a block assist.
- Sophomore Sawyer Hawgood tallied nine digs while freshman Valentina Abondano had eight digs.
- Hawgood also had two assists in the win while Abondano posted a service ace.

LAST MEET
- Had a standout showing during the Greater Louisville Classic in Kentucky with personal-bests for each Golden Bear.
- The men finished 20th out of 45 squads while the women ended 22nd of 43 teams.
- Led by junior Dan Nehnevaj's ninth place finish in 25:11.2, the men's team knocked off seven NAIA schools that received votes in last week's national poll, including three of the top 30.
- All Golden Bear scorers ran all-time personal best times in the nationally competitive blue division race, also knocking off the top ranked River States Conference (RSC) team opponent Point Park University.
- Following Nehnevaj across the line were freshman Aidan Hearne (26:32), sophomore Michael Ecker-Randolph (26:42), freshman Brandon Hudson (26:44), freshman Seth Bierbrauer (21:14), freshman Nathan Morton (27:45), sophomore Alex Lee (27:36), freshman Nicholas Lee (27:52), sophomore Marcus Vital (28:26) and sophomore Steven Smith (29:22).
- On the Women's side, the Golden Bear competed in the silver race, led by freshman Kara Sandusky in a personal-best time of 20:36.6, followed by sophomore Jaelynn Parks (20:56), freshman Alisa Kuchmak (21:48), sophomore Kaeley Boyd (21:54) and sophomore Hannah Pride (22:25).

LAST GAME
- Suffered its first loss in 2018 at No. 5 University of Rio Grande, 3-0.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 10-1-4, 4-1-1 (RSC) while the RedStorm move to 12-0, 6-0 (RSC).
- Rio struck quickly for its first goal, coming from Nicolas Cam Orellana in the fourth minute.
- The final two goals of the contest came in the second half from Manyumow Achol (84') and Callum Malanaphy (88').
- As a team, Tech finished with four shots, one on goal while the RedStorm had 12 shots, five on frame.
- Junior Alvaro Tina posted the Gold and Blue's shot on goal.
- Junior Jose Domingo Xam-mar made two stops and allowed three goals after 90 minutes of protecting the net for Tech.
- Rio's keeper, Richard Dearle, had one save after the complete game victory.

LAST GAME
- Fell at University of Rio Grande, 2-1.
- The Golden Bears move to 6-5, 3-3 (RSC) while the RedStorm improve to 5-7-1, 3-3 (RSC).
- All scores were recorded in the second half including the equalizer in minute 76 from sophomore Meghan Rugel.
- Rugel found the back of the net off the perfect pass from senior Lorena Moyers.
- Rio's first goal came in minute 49 from Payten Davis and the winning goal was posted with just one minute left to play in regulation from the same RedStorm player, Davis.
- The teams were almost even in shots with nine each while Tech had six on frame and Rio had five on goal.
- Rugel and Moyers finished with a team-best two shots on goal each.
- Freshman keeper Jenna Miller protected the net for 90 minutes in the loss.
- Miller made three stops while allowing two goals.
- Rio's keeper, Andrea Vera, played a complete game and was forced to make five Golden Bear stops while allowing one goal.
