MIDWAY, Kentucky -- WVU Tech women's soccer picked up a 3-1 River States Conference (RSC) win at Midway University Thursday afternoon. The Golden Bears boost their record to 7-5-1, 4-3-1 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 6-7, 2-6 (RSC).
Junior
Victoria Ellis tallied two goals for Tech, coming off assists from senior
Lorena Moyers and sophomore
Patricia Fisher in minutes 18 and 56 respectively.
The Gold and Blue's final goal was put away by freshman
Emily Harrah who recorded her first collegiate goal in the 81
st minute.
Midway's goal was posted by Regan Snyder in the first half (25').
Freshman keeper
Jenna Miller made one stop and allowed one goal for the win. The Eagles' keeper, Rebeckah McKee, was forced to stop three Golden Bear attempts while allowing three goals.
The team will finish up the regular season this Saturday, October 27 at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.
