RSC PRESEASON COACHES' POLL
- WVU Tech was predicted seventh overall in the RSC and third in the RSC East.
- The Golden Bears were RSC Tournament semifinalists last year and like Point Park and Rio Grande have placed two players on the preseason all-conference team.
- Tech also landed two on the All-RSC Preseason team including senior captain Savannah Shamblin and sophomore Brittney Justice.

RSC PRESEASON COACHES' POLL
- WVU Tech received five first-place votes in the poll and came in second with a total of 134 votes.
- The Golden Bears reached the national tournament last year and ended the season ranked No. 25 in the nation and are currently ranked No. 13 in the NAIA.
- WVU Tech advanced to the semifinals of the RSC Tournament, and it returns this year several players from the 20-win team, including some key pieces who were out all year with injuries.
- Tech also landed three on the All-RSC preseason team including seniors Brandon Shingles, Tommy Collins and Elisha Boone.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT
- Earned a huge River States Conference (RSC) victory over Indiana University East.
- The Golden Bears boost their record to 26-8, 9-5 (RSC) while the Red Wolves move to 22-7, 11-3 (RSC).
- Tech combined for 41 kills including a match-best 12 from junior Katelyn Byrd.
- Fellow junior Konstantina Pateli posted eight kills, also handling the ball for the Golden Bears, dishing out 29 assists to go with ten digs.
- Junior Emily Kidd finished with seven kills towards a .545 hitting percentage while recording three block solos.
- Senior Ana Monteiro and junior Carolina Bologna had five kills each.
- Sophomore libero Sawyer Hawgood marked the match-high of 17 digs while producing five assists in the win.
- Monteiro posted 13 digs while freshman Michaella Guyot-Polverini had four.
- Guyot-Polverini also recorded two service aces and an assist.

- The men's team finished third out of 41 teams while the women ended 18th of 41 teams during the Sand Shark Invitational.
- Junior Dan Nehnevaj led the men with a ninth place finish out of 281 competitors with a time of 25:40.5.
- The Golden Bears that followed Nehnevaj included Brandon Hudson (32, 26:43.4), Michael Ecker-Randolph (38, 26:55.2), Aidan Hearne (47, 27:14.5), Nathan Morton (48, 27:15.8), Zac Longwell (60, 27:26.5) and Alex Lee (63, 27:31.2).
- Sophomore Jaelynn Parks crossed first for the women, finishing with a time of 20:27.0 and a 77th place out of 292 runners.
- Teammates that followed Parks included Kara Sandusky (84, 20:42.5), Kaeley Boyd (119, 21:47.6), Annmarie Gruttadauro (123, 21:54.9), Hannah Pride (135, 22:20.4) and Alisa Kuchmak (148, 22:36.1).

- Men's swimming defeated two NCAA DII opponents including the host school Salem University, 143-91, and Alderson Broaddus University, 174-10.
- The team tallied nine first place finishes including three from Paulo Ignacio, Jr.
- Women's swimming team of WVU Tech defeated Alderson Broaddus University, 109-68, and fell to the host school Salem University, 101-112, both NCAA DII opponents.
- Tech recorded seven first place touches including three individual top finishes from Mariana Loureiro.
