PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- No. 11 WVU Tech is still undefeated in River States Conference (RSC) play after defeating Point Park University 95-87 Saturday in Pittsburgh. The Golden Bears boost their record to 12-2, 4-0 (RSC) while the Pioneers move to 4-5, 2-1 (RSC).
Tech was led by senior
Elisha Boone with 20 points who also pulled down a game-best nine rebounds. Boone also gave out four assists and blocked a Pioneer attempt.
Fellow senior
Tommy Collins recorded 16 points and five rebounds in the win. Senior
Brandon Shingles had 14 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals.
Sophomore
Tamon Scruggs marked 13 points and six rebounds while junior
Dominik King pulled down eight rebounds to go with six points.
The team will return home for non-conference action Sunday when they play host to Central Methodist University
