AT AAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Men's Swimming
	- WVU Tech repeated as the AAC Men's Swimming and Diving champion, edging out second place Union by 33.5 points.
- The three-day event was held at the Kingsport Aquatic Center Kingsport Aquatic Center in the HMG Competition Pool.
- WVU Tech tallied 682.5 total points, while Union amassed 649.
- Rounding out the rest of the field are: Asbury (533.5 points), Milligan (404 points), Point (361 points), and St. Andrews (16 points).
- To earn All-AAC Team honors, an individual must place in the top three of an event.
- In relay events, all four members earn All-AAC honors for the event.
- Tech had eight Golden Bears earn All-AAC honors including Dan Kelly, Paulo Ignacio, Jr., Geoffroy Gauneau, Jesus Ballesteros, Manuel Laguna Gomez, Marcos de Paula Damaso, Felipe Ruiz and Manuel Serrano Laguna.
- A total of three meet records were set this year by the Golden Bears. The new milestones are:
	
		- 400 Freestyle Relay - WVU Tech (Ruiz, Gauneau, Ballesteros, Ignacio) - 3:09.68
- 100 Breaststroke - Paulo Ignacio Jr., WVU Tech - 56.19
- 1650 Freestyle -Manuel Laguna Gomez, WVU Tech - 16:05.85
 
Women's Swimming
	- Earned runners-up in the AAC Championships held at the Kingsport Aquatic Center over three days.
- The Golden Bears finished with 488 team points while AAC champions, Asbury University, produced 606 team points.
- Union College ended up in third at 464 points, while Columbia College took fourth with 444 points.
- Milligan College (354.5), St. Andrews University (309.5) and Point University (246) rounded out the field.

LAST MEET
	- The inaugural RSC Indoor Track and Field Championship was held Friday, February 9 at Tiffin University's Heminger Center and the WVU Tech men finished third overall and the women finished sixth.
Men's Highlights:
	- 3,000m Race Walk - Luke Jobson - First - 12:29.65
- 3,000m Race Walk - Steven Smith - Second - 12:47.75
- 3,000m Race Walk - Anthony Gruttadauro - Third - 12:55.13
- 600m - Jared Hamm  - Fourth - 1:27.36
- 5,000m - Dan Nehnevaj  - First - 15:17.60

AT AAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
	- Senior Bryan Overton wrestled to first place at 165 lbs. during the AAC Championship and WVU Tech is the conference runner-up.
- Host school, Reinhardt University, took the title with 131.5 team points while the Golden Bears scored 65.5 team points.
- Overton punched his ticket to the NAIA National Championship after defeating fellow Golden Bear senior Corey Palmer in the first place bout with a 2-0 decision.
- Overton is headed to nationals after winning at 165 lbs.
- Palmer finished second at 165 lbs.
- Senior Paul Gonzales took third place at 125 lbs.
- Senior Tristan Bean wrestled at 133 lbs., finishing third overall.
- Freshman Devin Wilhelm wrestled to a second place showing at 141 lbs.
- Junior Robert Pritt grappled to a fourth place finish at 149 lbs.
- Sophomore Will Van Hoose earned second place at 197 lbs.

LAST SERIES
	- Split a four-game series, 2-2, at Brewton-Parker College Friday-Saturday including a 6-4 victory after 12 innings in game two.
- The Golden Bears (3-9) also defeated the Barons (6-13) in the final game, 4-2.
- The losses dealt to Tech from Brewton-Parker ended in scores of 3-16 (G1) and 6-9 (G3).
 
LAST SERIES
	- Earned a 5-2 decision against NCAA DII Fairmont State University to kick off a four-game showing at the Coker Spring Tournament in Hartsville, South Carolina Saturday and Sunday.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 1-7 this season after falling to University of Charleston (5-6, 8 Innings), Shepherd University (1-3) and King's College (1-13, 5 Innings).

LAST GAME
	- fell to No. T13 Indiana University Southeast in a River States Conference (RSC) Tournament semifinal Saturday afternoon, 95-82.
- The Golden Bears entered the tournament as the No. 2 RSC East seed and now have an overall record of 20-11 and the No. 1 RSC West Grenadiers are 23-8.
- Junior Thomas Collins led the Gold and Blue with 25 points on 10-for-19 shooting from the floor.
- Collins also had six rebounds, four assists and a block.
- Senior Michael Scott poured in 17 points and pulled down a team-high eight boards while junior Kevin Thomas-Griffin  finished with 14 points and four rebounds.
- Scott also dished three assists while blocking three Grenadier attempts.
- Freshman Andreas Jönsson went 3-for-4 from beyond the arc towards nine points while junior Brandon Shingles and sophomore Dominik King posted six points each.
- Jönsson and Shingles had four steals each towards Tech's 11 while Shingles also gave four assists.
- The Grenadiers were paced by Jamie Johnson who had 39 points while Joe Jackson finished with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
- Tech finished 45.8 percent (33-for-72) from the floor while IU Southeast shot 50.0 percent (32-for-64).
- The Golden Bears did hold a slight advantage under the boards, 39-35.
