  • Swept Ohio Christian University in Saturday's River States Conference (RSC) doubleheader to win the series, 2-1.
  • The Golden Bears (6-14, 2-4 RSC) defeated the Trailblazers (4-16, 1-5 RSC) in extra innings 8-7 before taking the final contest, 8-1.

  • Competed as individuals at the Wendy's Seahawk Invitational hosted by University of North Carolina Wilmington
  • Junior Seth Greensage placed first in the Hammer Throw (45.38m), fellow classmate Daniel Lynch was second in the Shot Put (16.25m) and freshman Alex Lee crossed third in the 2,000m Steeple Chase (6:57.33).

RSC FALL PREVIEW
  • WVU Tech jumped two spots in the standings with a 297 in the final round, and as a result, finished fourth after the 54-hole River States Conference (RSC) Fall Preview Tournament.
  • Eleven RSC teams and 58 golfers competed Monday-Tuesday at the Lassing Pointe Golf Club (Par 71 | 6,724 Yards) in Union, Kentucky.
  • Junior Makenzie Gaskin and sophomore Kieren Samarakoon led the way for the Gold and Blue, finishing tied for eighth at +10.
  • The Golden Bears finished with a total of 223 each.
  • Sophomore Jayden Dignan ended in a six-way tie for 14th after a three-round score of 226 while freshman Jorge Mario Hernandez shot the next lowest for Tech with a 235 and 31st place finish.
  • Sophomore Brandon Keaton rounded out the Golden Bears who competed at the Fall Preview, finishing 47th with a 242.
