BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech softball captured a non-conference doubleheader sweep over NCAA DII opponent Bluefield State College Friday afternoon in Beckley, West Virginia with scores of 10-2 and 14-1. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 13-25 while the Blues move to 1-12.
Senior
Kayla Harbin had a standout day at the plate, finishing a perfect 6-for-6 towards three doubles, five RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base.

Karina Atanacio (6-10) was credited the win after tossing two innings towards four strike outs, zero hits and zero runs.
The team will return to action Monday with another doubleheader against University of Pikeville in Beckley, West Virginia.
