LAST GAME
  • Tech defeated IU Kokomo 8-6 in the final game of a three-game series.
  • Dariel Torres sailed his fourth long ball of the season to start Tech's scoring off in the second inning.
  • The third inning saw five Golden Bear runs with RBI being credited to Jacob Reimold, Torres, Brian Schack, Alex Tennant and Juan Perez.
  • It was the seventh inning that secured the team's win after Wyatt Belinda hit a triple to right center that crossed Sean Crosby and a ground out to the short stop from Torres that scored Belinda.
  • Freshman Calyb King (2-0-1) earned the victory on the bump after throwing for 3.1 innings.
  • The Accident, Maryland native struck out five Cougars while giving up six hits and two earned runs.
  • Belinda (1-1-3) picked up his third save, replacing King on the mound with a score of 8-6, one out and bases loaded.
  • Belinda, who hails from Alexandria, Pennsylvania, pitched a fly out followed by a ground out to finish the game.

  • Sophomore AJ Gruttadauro (5,000m Race Walk, 21:51.52), junior Dan Nehnevaj (5,000m Run, 16:08.25), the relay team of sophomore Joseph De La Cruz and freshmen Evan Pronesti, Jared Hamm and Corey Fountain (4x400m Relay, 3:34.49) and sophomore Seth Greensage (Hammer Throw, 44.81m) took first place in their respective events.
  • Freshman Journee Wheeler ran to a sixth place finish in the 400m Dash (1:04.82) and was ninth in the 200m Dash (27.70).
  • Freshman Kaeley Boyd was fifth in the 800m run (2:33.70).
  • Freshman Alexis sheets crossed second in the 5,000m Race Walk while fellow classmate Allie Nelson followed with a third place showing.
  • Gruttadauro's race surpassed his previous stadium and meet record in the 5,000m.
  • Freshman Michael Ecker-Randolph was second in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:04.36.
  • Senior Douglas Negrete crossed the line second with a time of 16:23.30 in the 5,000m Run.
  • Freshman Pedrito Delgado ran the 5,000m run with a time of 17:41.24.
  • De La Cruz took third place in the 400m Hurdles crossing at 58.63
  • Freshman Alex Lee ran the 3,000m Steeple Chase in 11:18.73 for a second place showing.
  • Freshman Alex Bolt followed Lee in the Steeple Chase with a time of 11:25.40 and a third place finish.
  • Greensage threw the discus 40.10m for fourth place.
  • Freshman Hayden Erwin tossed a 37.80m Hammer Throw towards fifth place.
  • Junior Luke Jobson was fourth in the Javelin Throw after a 41.51m toss.
  • Jobson followed Gruttadauro in the Race Walk with second place (22:16.15).
