PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- WVU Tech finished out its 2018 campaign with a doubleheader at River States Conference (RSC) opponent No. 15 Point Park University Saturday. The Golden Bears dropped game one 10-5 before falling in what was not counted as a conference contest, 17-6.
Tech finishes the season with a record of 16-33 overall and a RSC showing of 9-16. The Pioneers will move on to the conference tournament with a record of 40-7, 23-4 (RSC).

The team tallied three doubles including two from senior
Wyatt Belinda and one each from juniors
Juan Perez and
Sean Crosby.
Belinda finished 3-for-5 at the plate towards two runs scored and a RBI.
Perez and freshmen
Calen Owens and
Alex Tennant also drove a run in.
Freshman
Brett Linton (3-6) was dealt the start and loss after throwing three innings towards two strike outs. Fellow classmate
Calyb King, who tossed for four innings, also recorded a strike out.

Belinda was a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and a double while Perez also recorded three hits and a run scored.
Sophomore
Jacob Reimold blasted a home run, recording four RBI and a run scored for the Gold and Blue.
Freshman
Bryton Dean, the Golden Bears catcher, posted two RBI off a 1-for-3 effort.
Senior
Ryan Bayle (0-1) earned the loss after 1.1 innings of work.
