BECKLEY, West Virginia -- The WVU Tech women's soccer squad finished a River States Conference (RSC) contest with Carlow University in a 0-0 draw after double-overtime Saturday evening. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 6-5-1, 5-2-1 (RSC) while the Celtics move to 3-8-5, 1-2-5 (RSC).
Tech held the advantage with nine shots on frame compared to Carlow's three shots on goal.
Sophomore
Brittany Dye led the Golden Bears with four shots on goal while freshman
Sydney Krakat had two.
The Gold and Blue's keeper,
Jenna Miller (6-5-1), made three stops in 110 minutes while Carlow's Lauren Forte had nine saves while protecting the net.
Tech will hit the road again, traveling to Indiana University Kokomo Thursday, October 31 for more conference play.
