CLEVELAND, Georgia -- The grapplers of WVU Tech dropped an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) dual at Truett McConnell University 31-24 Friday evening.
Three of the Golden Bears' wins were from falls created by junior
Nathan McClaugherty (149 lbs.), freshman
Clayton Ryan Stewart (157 lbs.) and sophomore
Vincent DeVaney (197 lbs.).
McClaugherty took down Gio Silvestre in the third period (0:15).
Truett's J.C. Williams was pinned by Stewart in the first period (1:38).
In the second period of the bout, DeVaney defeated Khalil Belk (1:05).

Leslie Campbell also picked up points for Tech with a forfeit win at 174 lbs.
The squad will next travel to Campbellsville, Kentucky where they will face Lincoln College, Cumberland University and the host school, Campbellsville University Tuesday, November 26.
