BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech women's and men's soccer will sponsor a cervical and ovarian cancer awareness game Thursday when they host Asbury University during conference openers in Beckley.

Action for the River States Conference (RSC) match-ups are scheduled to begin with the women's game at 5 p.m. and the men will follow at 7 p.m.

The Golden Bears of Tech soccer will be wearing teal to honor all those affected by cervical and ovarian cancer. Fans are also encouraged to wear teal to show their support of the cause.

The women's squad currently holds a record of 1-3 while the men boast a record of 5-0-1 in 2019.
