BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech volleyball earned a River States Conference (RSC) victory at Ohio Christian University 3-0 Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears won with scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-14 and now hold a record of 2-2, 2-2 (RSC).

Senior Katelyn Byrd led the way with ten kills to go with 13 kills. Sophomore Brooklyn Cook posted seven kills.

Fellow senior Sawyer Hawgood had 14 digs while freshman Ana Muniz Rocandio picked up ten.

Senior Lucie Strasser handled the ball, dishing out a match-high 19 assists.

The team will continue conference play when they host Indiana University East October 9 in Van Meter Gym.
