(RV) WVU Tech women's basketball fell to No. 4 in the nation (NAIA) Campbellsville University Saturday afternoon in Beckley. After a score of 109-63 the Golden Bears move to 1-1 while the Tigers are 1-0 after their season opener.
Senior Whittney Justice led all scorers with 20 points including a 4-for-6 effort from three-point range. She also had five rebounds, five assists, a block and an assist.
Junior Eugenia Marcelli and sophomore Alyssa Taylor pulled down seven and six boards respectively and had four points each.
Freshman Emilee Whitt and senior Brittney Justice recorded eight points each while senior Alexandria Gray poured in seven points. Whitt and B. Justice also had four assists each.
