BECKLEY, West Virginia -- (RV) WVU Tech women's basketball fell just short to an undefeated University of Cumberlands 88-86 Tuesday evening in Beckley. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 3-4 while the Patriots move to 5-0.

The Justice twins, seniors Brittney and Whittney, led all scorers with 21 points each including a perfect 7-for-7 effort from the foul line for Brittney and three made from beyond the arc for Whittney.

W. Justice finished with six assists and three boards while B. Justice pulled down seven rebounds.

Fellow senior Alexandria Gray posted 15 points and four rebounds.

Sophomore Brianna Ball rounded out Tech's top scorers with 12 points to go with seven rebounds.

The Gold and Blue return to the court Saturday, December 12 when they travel to University of Pikeville.
