WVU Tech athletics will be suspending athletic activities as outlined in the conference and association announcements below.

From the River States Conference at 10:30 p.m. on March 12:  "The River States Conference  has suspended all athletic-related activities including all competition, informal or organized practice, and participation in NAIA championships effective March 13 at noon through March 31 . Further direction will be provided as soon as it is available."

From the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) at 12:44 p.m. on March 12: "Effective immediately, all remaining  NAIA winter championship events will be canceled, including those that are currently underway. The health and safety of our student-athletes, as well as all involved in our championship events, is the NAIA's highest priority. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 developments and NAIA leadership will work closely with our member institutions to determine the best path forward for future NAIA events, including all spring 2020 championships."

Men's and Women's Basketball teams will return to campus before returning home. They will adhere to the communication sent to the rest of the student population.
