BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech men's soccer earned a 3-2 River States Conference (RSC) decision over Point Park University Saturday. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 6-4, 2-1 (RSC) while the Pioneers move to 5-6-1, 1-3 (RSC).
Tech scored its first two goals in the first half, one from
Endjick Albert (32') and the second from
Edward Tordoff (33'). The assists were credited to Jaime Fernandez Ortega and Albert.
The final Gold and Blue score was posted by
Alejandro Moreno (74') with the assist from Joan Hernandez.
Protecting the net, Lucas Rivera Paramio made three stops in 90 minutes of play while Point Park's keeper, Andrew Russell, was forced to make eight saves.
Tech will play again October 14 for another conference match-up at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods University.
