WVU Tech volleyball dropped two River States Conference (RSC) match-ups this weekend, falling to Indiana University Southeast (3-0) then Midway University (3-0). The Golden Bears are now 8-14, 4-4 (RSC) in 2021.
In the back row,
Valentina Abondano led the defense with a total of 24 digs over two matches. Ana Muniz Rocandio finished with 16 digs while
Julia McClanahan had 15.
McClanahan led the way on assists, dishing out 53 for the Gold and Blue.
The offense at the net was led by Rocandio who put down 17 kills.
Brooklyn Cook finished with 15 kills while Alicia Cervera Sospedra had 11.
Morgan Shablom finished with four block assists with two block solos.
The Golden Bears will begin a five-match homestand when they host Oakland City University October 15 in Van Meter Gym.
