CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio -- WVU Tech women's basketball is now 4-1 in River States Conference (RSC) play after defeating Ohio Christian University 89-67 Saturday. The Golden Bears hold an overall record of 4-7 while the Trailblazers move to 3-3, 1-2 (RSC).
Alanis Hill led the way for the Gold and Blue, recording a game-high 27 points to go with six rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Brittney Justice finished with 18 points and seven boards while
Elle Baker posted 14 points, three rebounds and a block.
Whittney Justice rounded out the double-digit scorers for Tech with ten points.
Alyssa Taylor had eight points and six rebounds while
Leonor Ferreira pulled down a team-high nine boards to go with four points and a block.
Tech shot 52.1 percent (38-for-73) from the field while holding the Trailblazers to 31.0 percent (22-for-71).
The Golden Bears will step out of conference play Tuesday, December 7 when they travel to face University of Pikeville.
