PIKEVILLE, Kentucky -- WVU Tech women's basketball fell at University of Pikeville 89-77 Tuesday evening in Kentucky. The Golden Bears are now 4-8 overall while the Bears move to 4-5.
Alanis Hill, this week's
River States Conference Player of the Week, had another standout game, finishing with a game-high 25 points to go with seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block.
Whittney Justice recorded 20 points while
Brittney Justice posted 12 points for the Gold and Blue.
Elle Baker pulled down seven boards and had 10 points while
Leonor Ferreira had five rebounds and four points.
Tech will continue non-conference play Saturday when they travel to University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky.
