BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech women's basketball picked up a 97-64 Saturday afternoon victory over River States Conference opponent Ohio Christian University. The Golden Bears push their record to 6-7 while the Trailblazers move to 7-7.
Sophomore
Brianna Ball recorded a career-high 22 points to go with seven boards.
Senior
Brittney Justice finished with a double-double of 18 rebounds and 14 points. The Danese, West Virginia native also dished out a game-best seven assists.
Junior
ShanEttine Butler had 14 points and three assists including a perfect 4-for-4 effort from beyond the arc while senior
Alexandria Gray had 11 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Freshman
Emilee Whitt also hit double-digits, producing ten points to go with three assists, two rebounds and three steals.
As a team, Tech finished with 33 assists including six from senior
Whittney Justice and five from fellow classmate
Isabel Barrio.
The Golden Bears will return to action Tuesday, February 9 when they host Carlow University.
