Second half goals moves Tech past St. Andrews

Men's Soccer

LAURINBURG, North Carolina -- No. 20 WVU Tech men's soccer found two goals in the second to half to lift them past St. Andrews University 2-1 Wednesday evening in North Carolina. Tech now holds a record of 10-3 in this COVID-19-extended 2020 season.

Sophomore Lucas Rivera Paramio earned his first win protecting the net after 90 minutes and five saves.

Freshman Layomi Ogunfowora recorded both goals for the Gold and Blue, first in the 61st minute then the 72nd.

Ogunfowora's first score was assisted by junior Abdelrahman Rabie followed by the assist from senior Javaid Payne.

The squad is scheduled to return to River States Conference action next, hosting Indiana University East this Saturday, March 27.
