WILLIAMSBURG, Kentucky -- (RV) WVU Tech men's soccer earned a 2-1 victory over University of the Cumberlands Sunday. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 3-2 while the Patriots move to 1-2-1.

Dixie Davies recorded both goals for the Gold and Blue, marking his third and fourth of the season.
Tech's first assist (60') was credited to freshman
Ignacio Barriga Fernandez. The Golden Bears final goal was assisted by fellow freshman
Miki Fujita. Both Barriga and Fujita now have their first collegiate assists.
Sophomore Lucas Rivera Pamerio picked up his third win in 2021 while protecting the net, making three stops in 90 minutes of play.
WVU Tech will begin River States Conference play Thursday when they host Ohio Christian University at Paul Cline Stadium.
