BECKLEY, West Virginia -- (RV) WVU Tech men's soccer sailed past Ohio Christian University 7-1 to begin River States Conference (RSC) play this season. The Golden Bears now boast a record of 4-2, 1-0 (RSC) while the Trailblazers move to 0-5, 0-1 (RSC).

Jamie Johnston recorded his first and second collegiate goals for the Gold and Blue.

Lucas Rivera Paramio made three stops in the first 45 minutes for the win. Freshman
Nico Villalobos made his debut in the second half, recording three saves while Ohio Christian's keeper was forced to make eight saves.
Tech will return to the pitch Saturday when they host No. 11 Indiana Tech at 3 p.m.
