BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech wrestling hosted Reinhardt University, Montreat College, St. Andrews University and Truett-McConnell University Saturday (January 15) for the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Duals.
Judson McCray earned a fall (0:55) over Truett-McConnell's Anthony Greear at 141 lbs.
Jacob Thomas also scored a fall (4:11) against a Truett-McConnell opponent, Joel Compton, at 184 lbs.
In the dual against St. Andrews,
Steven Slack II (133 lbs.) posted a 6-2 decision over James Roberts while
Isaiha Casto (174 lbs) defeated Ty'quez Stuckey with a 13-9 decision and
Jeffrey Bowles (285 lbs.) had an 8-3 decision over Logan Sage.
Bowles also grappled to a 3-0 decision against Montreat's James Connaghan.
The Golden Bears return to the mat Sunday (January 23) when they travel to Pennsylvania for the John Reece Duals.
