PIPPA PASSES, Kentucky -- No. 23 WVU Tech's 14-game winning streak was snapped by the undefeated (RV) Alice Lloyd College in a River States Conference (RSC) match-up Thursday. The Golden Bears are now 17-3, 8-1 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 18-0, 9-0 (RSC).

Andrew Work led Tech's scorers with 14 points while producing seven rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Gunner Short had 13 points and five boards while Andreas Jonsson finished with 12 points and three rebounds.

Thomas Hailey came off the bench to produce 11 points and four blocks.

Ashton Parker got up for a career-high six blocks and seven rebounds.

Tech will return to the court in one week when they travel to Indiana University Kokomo January 27.
