SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Indiana -- WVU Tech women's basketball rolled past Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in River States Conference (RSC) action 95-82 Saturday. The Golden Bears now boast a conference record of 7-5 while the Polmeroys move to 4-7 in the RSC.
Brianna Ball played to another double-double, producing 28 points and 11 rebounds to go with two blocks.
Brittney Justice led all scorers with 30 points including a 13-for-14 effort from the foul line. She also had four rebounds and four steals.
Alanis Hill was one rebound short of her own double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds while dishing five assists and grabbing five steals.
Whittney Justice recorded seven rebounds, six assists and six points,
Elle Baker had seven points,
Emilee Whitt posted eight assists and
Alyssa Taylor finished with six rebounds.
Tech dominated under the boards as a team, out rebounding their opponent 51-25.
The Golden Bears will return home for the next match-up when they host University of Rio Grande Thursday (February 3).
