BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech women's soccer dropped a 2-1 River States Conference (RSC) match-up to Brescia University Thursday. The Bearcats now hold a record of 7-7-1, 4-4-1 (RSC) while the Golden Bears move to 1-15-1, 1-7-1 (RSC).

Ana Gay Mesa tallied the Gold and Blue's goal in minute 39. The score marks Gay Mesa's fourth goal in 2022.
The Bearcats had goals from Isabella McChessney (40') and Maci Uffleman (58').

Sandra Garcia, made six stops in 90 minutes. Garcia is now ranked No. 8 in the nation (NAIA) with a total of 132 saves in her first collegiate season.
