BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech volleyball ended the 2022 season Saturday as they hosted River States Conference (RSC) opponent Indiana University East in Van Meter Gym. The Golden Bears fell to the Red Wolves 3-0 with scores of 25-9, 25-13 and 25-14.
Ana Muniz Rocandio led the attack with six kills to go with five digs.
Coralys Maldonado Rivera put down four kills while
Emily Stack,
Julia McClanahan and
Brooklyn Cook finished with two each.
Yukari Furuichi Blanchard and
Alyson Holdren picked up five digs each while
Emma Leach had four in three sets.
McClanahan pushed out 12 assists for the Gold and Blue.
The Golden Bears finish with a record of 8-24 overall and 5-12 in RSC play. IU East will move onto the postseason at 24-5, 14-3 RSC.
