GEORGETOWN, Kentucky -- WVU Tech women's soccer suffered a 7-2 loss at Georgetown College Wednesday. The Tigers boost their record to 3-2-1 while the Golden Bears move to 0-7.

Tech's first goal was recorded by freshman
Stheisy Lemus which was the Bilbao, Spain native's first collegiate goal. The score came in minute 36 off an assist from sophomore
Ana Gay Mesa who hails from Biescas, Spain.
Fellow freshman
Meghan Cloninger posted her second collegiate goal for the Gold and Blue, unassisted in minute 75.
The Zaragoza, Spain native, freshman
Sandra Garcia, protected the net for 90 minutes again, making eight stops in the loss. Georgetown's keepers, Madison Lonneman and Daysia Thompson, combined for three saves.
The Tigers goals were scored by Madie Sparks, Carson Smith (3), Libby Miller, Bekah Clark and Natalie Harris.
Tech will begin River States Conference (RSC) play this Saturday when they travel to Ohio Christian University who is currently 0-4 in 2022.
