MIDWAY, Kentucky -- (RV) WVU Tech men's soccer has now outscored its two River States Conference (RSC) opponents 10-0 after garnering a 4-0 victory at Midway University Thursday. The Golden Bears boast a record of 7-2-2, 2-0 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 0-7, 0-1 (RSC).
Tech had four different goal scorers including the initial score that got it started from freshman
Julian Diaz (7').
The next one was recorded by sophomore
Omar Belahna with the assistance of fellow classmate
Joan Hernandez (38').
The second half saw goals from Freshman
Marvin Urena (80') and senior
Abdelrahman Rabie (86'). Rabie, a native of Al Minya, Egypt, also tallied the assist for Urena.
Junior
Lucas Rivera Paramio played a fulled 90 minutes as Tech's keeper for the W.
The team will begin a two-game homestand Saturday, October 1 when they host Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
