GOSHEN, Indiana -- The Golden Bears traveled to Goshen College in Indiana Monday for a non-conference contest, falling 6-0. WVU Tech is 0-5 in 2022 while the Maple Leafs moves to 3-2.

Tech recorded five shots on goal as a team including two from freshman Isabella Covarrubias and one each from sophomores Ana Gay Mesa and Brianna Tran and junior Emilee Whitt.

Freshman Sandra Garcia started in her fourth consecutive game protecting the net, making seven stops in the complete game. Goshen's keeper, Gracie Garcia, posted five saves in the W.

The Golden Bears will return to the field this Saturday, September 10 when they host Shaw University at 5 p.m.
