BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech men's soccer blanked Shawnee State University then Point Park University in River States Conference (RSC) play this week, both with scores of 3-0. The Golden Bears have not lost a game in their last nine outings and now boast a record of 9-4-2, 7-0-1 (RSC).

Tech saw six goals from six different Golden Bears including freshman Marc Hernandez (Argentona, Barcelona, Spain) who also tallied three assists over two games.

Freshmen Ollie Corris (Manchester, England), Adam Seams (Lewisburg, W.Va.) and Vasco Berardo (Lisboa, Portugal), sophomore Aimar Lezana (Logroño, La Rioja, Spain) and senior Alejandro Moreno (Barcelona, Spain) all netted a goal each. Lezana and Seams both recorded their first collegiate goals Thursday and Saturday respectively. Berardo also posted an assist for the Gold and Blue.

The net was protected by freshman Ramon Ferrari (Nova Venécia, Espírito Santo, Brazil) for all 180 minutes over both matches where he produced four saves and allowed zero goals for both W's.

The Golden Bears will celebrate seniors and host Ohio Christian University Thursday, October 26 at Paul Cline Stadium for a 7 p.m. scheduled kickoff.
