PIPPAS PASSES, Kentucky -- WVU Tech men's basketball dropped a River States Conference (RSC) match-up at Alice Lloyd 88-69 Saturday. The Golden Bears are 12-15, 7-10 (RSC) while the Eagles hold a record of 14-13, 8-9 (RSC).
Bryce Radford led the Golden Bears with 19 points including five made from beyond the arc. Radford also had two assists and a rebound.
Keondre' King and
Will Hill both produced 10 points. King finished with four assists and two rebounds while Hill had three boards and an assist.
Ashton Parker had Tech's best seven rebounds to go with nine points, five assists and two blocks.
Luke Vass produced eight points, four assists and three rebounds for the Gold and Blue.
Brant Smithers finished with seven points and two rebounds while
Saliou Diop posted four points, three rebounds and a block.
WVU Tech will enter the River States Conference Championship as the five-seed in the East. The first round games are scheduled for Monday, February 20 when the Golden Bears will travel to No. 4 (East) Indiana University East for a 7:30 p.m. match-up.
