COLUMBIA, Ky. -- (RV) WVU Tech men's soccer dropped a 2-1 decision at No. 5 Lindsey Wilson College Sunday. The Golden Bears move to 1-3-1 while the Blue Raiders hold a record of 5-1.
The Gold and Blue struck first and fast, recording their score just two minutes and seven seconds into the contest. Sophomore
Julian Diaz (Uberlândia, Minas, Brazil) was the goal scorer for Tech, getting the assist from junior
Joan Hernandez (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain).

Luka Felix (Portugal) protected the net, making two stops and allowing two goals in the complete game. Lindsey Wilson's keeper, Pablo Costa, recorded three saves and allowed a goal in the win.
The Blue Raiders goals were posted by Michael Acquah (29') and Sebastian Tregarthen (89').
Tech will return home this Wednesday, September 13 when they host Mount Vernon Nazarene University at 7 p.m. in Paul Cline Stadium.
