• Jay Jones was a place winner at 197 lbs, finishing eighth.
• WVU Tech posted eight Falls as a team.
• Tech faced competitors from Apprentice School, Bluefield State, Allen, Averett, Shenandoah University, Marymount, Emory & Henry, Roanoke College, East Stroudsburg, Ferrum, East Carolina University and Liberty University.
• The Golden Bears competed at 125 lbs., 133 lbs., 174 lbs., 184 lbs., 197 lbs. and 285 lbs.

• Blayson Jordan (133 lbs.) grappled to four wins -- Decision (5-4) vs. Gary Woodard, Fall (4:12) vs. Trey Ruehl, Fall (6:10) vs. Xavier Ramsey, Decision (7-0) vs. Maximillian Connell
• Nicholas Da Silva (174 lbs.) had one bout win -- Fall (4:53) vs. Thomas Dolo
• Shannon Fray (174 lbs.) posted a W -- Fall (4:01) vs. Kasim Bahar
• Ryan Turney (174 lbs.) had a bout win -- Fall (5:10) vs. Dolo
• Nicholas Vincent (184 lbs.) recorded a victory -- Fall (6:48) vs. Grayson Ringwald
