Sophomore
Alva Hedrich (Muecke, Hessen, Germany) led the Golden Bears with 26 points to go with five boards, four assists, a block and a steal.
Two more Golden Bears hit double-digits including sophomore
Alexis Sexton (Lexington, S.C.) who had 22 points including four made three's and Grigsby with 12 points. Grigsby added a team-best eight rebounds, five assists and two steals while Sexton had seven rebounds and three assists.
Senior
Marquesia Heidt (Townsend, Ga.) finished with nine points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Ferreira posted six points and three rebounds for the Gold and Blue.
As a team, Tech finished 51.7 percent (30-for-58) from the field while the Eagles shot 40.5 percent (30-for-74). Alice Lloyd held the edge under the boards, 40-36.
The Golden Bears will continue play at home when they host Ohio Christian University this Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. for more conference action.
