CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio -- WVU Tech women's basketball dropped an 89-72 decision at Ohio Christian University in River States Conference action Wednesday.
The Golden Bears will next host Alice Lloyd College this Saturday at 1 p.m. as WVU Tech celebrates Homecoming 2024. Admission is free for all!
Junior
Stacey Begay (Chinle, Ariz.) led the Golden Bears with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds while adding two assists.
Fellow classmate
Leonor Ferreira (Matosinhos, Portugal) also had a double-double effort with 15 points and 13 boards to go with an assist and a steal.
Senior
Marquesia Heidt (Townsend, Ga.) and freshman
Emily Sharkey (Morgantown, W.Va.) finished with seven points each while sophomore
Alexis Sexton (Lexington, S.C.) had six points.
Homecoming festivities Saturday will include games, prizes and food for Golden Bear fans.
