GRAYSON, Ky. -- WVU Tech baseball is now 15-11 this season after defeating Kentucky Christian University 5-3 in a non-conference game Tuesday afternoon.
Seniors
Francesco Calderon (Guayaquil, Ecuador) and
Braydon McClung (Logan, W.Va.) tallied a hit and a RBI each. Junior
Logan Spurlock (Charleston, W.Va.) knocked a double and scored a run for the Gold and Blue.

Sophomore
Chase Herndon (Hedgesville, W.Va.) drew the start on the bump, throwing for 4.2 innings towards six strike outs while giving up three hits and two earned runs. Fellow classmate
Ben Palomo (Castalia, Ohio) earned the W after 2.1 innings of work and two strike outs. Freshman
Pedro Henrique Luciano (Atlanta, Ga.) struck out two in 1.0 inning while freshman Wyat Sisk (Appomattox, Va.) retired one opponent via strikes in 0.2 innings.
