FORT WAYNE, Ind. – WVU Tech volleyball tipped off its season with two matches at the Onset Invitational in Fort Wayne. The Golden Bears first fell to Grace College 0-3 (16-25, 16-25, 8-25) before
dropping a 1-3 (20-25, 13-25, 25-20, 21-25) decision to Spring Arbor University.
Madison Boswell led the Golden Bears' attack with 19 kills while
Emily Stack logged 14 and
Giulia Colombo had nine kills.
The back row defense was led by
Brooke Presley with 31 digs while
Marianna Oyola Rivera dished out 51 assists.
