BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech women's soccer sent its seniors out in style Saturday evening, unleashing a relentless attack to defeat Kentucky Christian 10–0 in River States Conference play at Paul Cline Stadium.
Senior Julia Silva delivered a hat trick — all before the 58th minute — to pace a Tech offense that scored four times in the opening 25 minutes and added six more after halftime. Nora Martin-Mora Segura chipped in two goals and an assist, while Avalyn Day netted her first two collegiate goals late to cap the Golden Bears' highest scoring match of the season.
The victory lifts WVU Tech to 9-4-3 overall and 6-2-1 in RSC play, good for third place in the standings with one match remaining in the regular season.

Goalkeeper Sandra Garcia Quílez didn't face a single shot in the clean sheet, while KCU keeper Abigayle Moore made 16 saves in the loss.
