SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. — WVU Tech women's soccer closed its regular season with another commanding performance, defeating Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College 4–0 Saturday afternoon in River States Conference play.
The Golden Bears wasted no time taking control, scoring twice in the first two minutes. Victoria Pare netted the opener just 86 seconds in, followed quickly by Julia Silva, who later added her second of the day in the 62nd minute. Rylee Yeloushan capped the scoring in the 85th with her first goal of the season.
Tech dominated possession, outshooting the Pomeroys 32–4 and holding a 20–2 edge in shots on goal. Sandra Garcia Quílez recorded two saves in net for her seventh shutout of the year.
With the result, WVU Tech improves to 11-4-3 overall and 8-2-1 in the RSC, earning the No. 3 seed and a home quarterfinal in next week's conference championship.
