WVU Tech drops RSC road match to IU Southeast

NEW ALBANY, Ind. — WVU Tech volleyball dropped a three-set decision Friday evening, falling to Indiana University Southeast 25-18, 25-17, 25-10 in River States Conference play.

The Golden Bears (3-21, 2-4 RSC) saw Aniston Treadway pace the attack with six kills, while Ivana Burgos added four and Addison White chipped in three kills alongside seven assists and six digs. Nevaeh Wooding and freshman Gabriela Lattu each recorded two blocks, while Peydon Smith anchored the back row with nine digs. Anaís González matched White with seven assists, and Roxana Vazquez added three helpers and three digs.

Tech totaled 21 kills with 20 assists, four blocks and 33 digs against the Grenadiers.

Opponent highlights

IU Southeast (11-3, 4-2 RSC) was led by Madison Ramsey with 11 kills, two blocks and a service ace, while Ella Brooks finished with 10 kills and 11 digs. Allison Daves tallied nine kills on .500 hitting, and Carly Mason directed the offense with 25 assists and two aces.
