The Matchup
No. 11 seed WWV Tech (20-0-2) advances to the national championship match for the first time in program history after a composed 2–1 semifinal win over No. 7 MidAmerica Nazarene on Saturday. Goals from Linus Kleinewiese and Leny Duperray, plus a steady performance from goalkeeper Luka Felix, pushed the Golden Bears into their longest postseason run ever and extended their unbeaten record to 22 matches.
Grand View (17-4-3) enters the final following a 1–0 semifinal win over No. 12 Cumberlands, powered by a 50th-minute strike from Herman Furumo. The Vikings have posted three straight shutouts at the final site after defeating No. 1 Bethel and No. 8 Georgia Gwinnett.
This is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
