Golden Bear softball falls to Rio Grande in conference play

S. CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- WVU Tech softball dropped a River States Conference (RSC) doubleheader to University of Rio Grande Tuesday.

  • In the circle, Lillian Healton (1.2 innings) and Taylor Scott (5.1 innings) struck out three each.
  • Tori Wells and Macy Wilkens both drove in a run on two and one hits respectively.
  • Olivia Barnett and Wells knocked a double each.
  • The team finished with 19 hits towards two RBI while committing just one error in the field.
