WVU Tech takes extra-inning walk-off victory over Shawnee State

BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech baseball earned a 13-11 walk-off win in the bottom of the tenth inning against Shawnee State University Friday.

  • The team totaled 18 hits and 13 RBI while recording seven stolen bases.
  • Michael Adams knocked a two-run homer for the walk-off in the 10th, scoring Carson Brown.
  • Adams finished with one hit, two RBI and three stolen bases.
  • Broedy Boyce finished with five hits and two RBI including a triple and a homerun.
  • Logan Spurlock drove in three runs off a hit and a sacrifice fly.
  • Chase Herndon recorded three hits, two RBI and two runs scored.
  • Noah Cummings also had a multi-hit game with two towards a RBI and a run scored.
  • Robert Kelley earned the W on the mound after 3.0 innings and five strike outs.
  • Braedan Pakkala (3.1 innings) and Cameron Lynch (3.2 innings) struck out three and two batters respectively.
