WVU Tech baseball dominates at Bluefield State

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -- WVU Tech baseball rolled past Bluefield State University 25-5 in a non-conference Tuesday evening road game.

NOTES
  • The team totaled 25 RBI, 21 hits, three homeruns and three doubles after 7.0 innings of work.
  • William Gray (4-for-4), Logan Spurlock (3-for-3) and Hunter Fansler (2-for-2) were perfect at the plate while adding four, three and two RBI respectively.
  • Cameron Lynch and Reece Patterson drove in three runs each.
  • The long balls were credited to Spurlock, Lynch and Noah Lukas.
  • Fansler, Gray and Broedy Boyce each knocked a double.
  • Cody Cooper threw for 5.0 innings for the W on the bump after striking out two and giving up just one earned run.
  • Joel Camp struck out two in 1.1 innings of work while giving up zero runs and Luke Jarrell struck out one after 0.2 innings.
